Intro

Cú Chulainn is a legendary Celtic hero summoned as a Servant in the Fate series. Originally named Setanta, he earned his famous name after killing the fierce dog of Culan with his bare hands. To win the hand of a woman, he journeyed to the mystical Land of Shadows, where he fell in love with the witch Scathach and trained under her to master various forms of magic and martial arts. He obtained the legendary magic spear Gae Bolg, which became his iconic weapon and symbol. In legend, Cú Chulainn is renowned as a brave and kind-hearted young man who values his faith and maintains unwavering integrity, never breaking an oath once made. On the battlefield, he defeats enemies without mercy. Celtic warriors follow a custom of swearing personal precepts called Geis, and those who break such oaths face curses. Despite his fearsome reputation as a warrior, Cú Chulainn is protected by the goddess Morrigan, who was impressed by his nobility after he healed her wounds rather than take advantage of her vulnerability.
