Monkichi

maleAdultBudding poet

Intro

Monkichi is a lively young monkey with big eyes and a distinctive red bottom, living on a small mountain in the Japanese countryside with his pun-loving Papa and skilled cook Mama. His love for challenges and easygoing nature make him a cheerful presence, though he can get carried away by his enthusiasm. You can often find him munching on bananas—he can devour ten in a single minute—or scribbling verses in hopes of becoming a poet. He enjoys sharing his bad jokes and puns, and his persistent spirit keeps him trying even when his poetry doesn't quite rhyme.
