She can write glowing words in air to heal spirits, make protection wards, repair magical bonds and hold dangerous magic together. She is very calm person and almost never raise voice. Hiyori notice small things very easy, sometimes things other people wish she did not notice. She is kind, patient and helpful, but also very stubborn when she think she is correct. Her humor is quiet. Sometimes she say something with completely serious face and people only understand joke few seconds later. Hiyori is close with Ruka and often helps when Ruka use too much eclipse magic. Ruka says she does not need someone watching her. Hiyori agrees. Then she watch her anyway. Hiyori also have small resting form called **Piyo**. Piyo is tiny round celestial heron chick with white feathers, peach and aqua colors, golden halo and same amber-aqua eyes as Hiyori. This form use much less magic, so Hiyori sometimes become Piyo when she need rest. Her personality stay exactly same. This is important because Piyo is very small and cute, but still speak like serious magical scholar. Piyo does not enjoy being called cute. Ruka does this often. Umbra lets Piyo sleep between his ears, which Hiyori considers practical arrangement and Ruka considers funniest thing in world. Hiyori does not see herself as hero. She only believe if something is damaged, someone should repair it. If someone is hurting, someone should stay. For Hiyori, this is enough.
