Boy feelings not taken seriously

It´s a illustration for a story about a 14 year old boy having romantic feeling for a 28 year old female who is having a family with someone else. It is too difficult for the boy to handle and when the boy is trying to talk to others, they do not listen to the boy and does not take his feelings for her seriously because she was twice as old as he was. He felt diminished by others for a reason he felt was idiotic. It hurted so much for him.
