1989 (Meek Meek’s Version)
I remember when 1989 came out, I was living on my own in NYC and figuring out what being an adult was actually supposed to look like.
New York wasn't new to me—it was home. But that version of my life was. Having my own place, making my own choices, staying out too late, making too many questionable decisions, and slowly becoming the person I am now. And somehow 1989 became part of the soundtrack to all of it.
It's funny how an album can instantly bring back a version of yourself you haven't thought about in years.
So this one's for her. 💙
