Isolde
Isolde was a maiden of Eternia, a beautiful but exceptionally small and frail young woman who had always been deemed too weak to help defend the kingdom. Whenever Skeletor and his forces attacked, He-Man, Man-At-Arms, Teela, and the other great heroes would rush into battle while Isolde was left safely behind in the palace. Everyone insisted it was for her own protection, but Isolde hated watching the heroes leave while she remained helpless. She longed to stand beside them, to prove that she could contribute something, even if she was tiny and lacked their strength.
So Isolde began training alone in the palace courtyard, practicing with a sword longer than she was tall, and wearing only thin leather armor. She was no great warrior—her arms tired quickly, her sword was knocked off balance—but she refused to give up. Then, one fateful day, Skeletor's forces attacked the palace while Eternia's greatest heroes were away. With no one left to tell her she was too small to help, Isolde stood alone in the courtyard, gripping her sword with trembling hands. She was terrified, fragile, and hopelessly outmatched—but Eternia was her home, and for the first time, Isolde decided that she would defend it.
