I absolutely adore how this illustration of Reika turned out! 🥹💙 She looks like a beautiful princess enjoying a peaceful summer afternoon by the sea.
What I love the most is the combination of her elegant white summer dress with all the delicate blue decorations. The blue ribbon, the floral details and especially the beautiful blue rose she is holding complement her long dark-blue hair perfectly. 🌹💙
Her gentle expression while she brings the rose closer to her face is probably my favorite part. She looks so calm and graceful, as if she is simply enjoying the fragrance of the flower while feeling the warm summer breeze.
The scenery makes the illustration even more beautiful. The crystal-blue ocean, the bright summer sky, the white clouds and all those blue hydrangeas create an amazing harmony of colors. I especially love how her hair flows naturally in the breeze—it makes the whole scene feel alive.
To me, this is one of the most beautiful interpretations of Reika I've seen. She has always had an elegant and gentle presence, and this summer setting brings that side of her out beautifully.
