An old treehouse, filled with memories.
Jonathan built it together with his parents when he was still a little boy. It stood not far from his childhood home and soon became his very own place of refuge. He spent countless carefree hours there, playing, flipping through magazines, or simply sitting around and watching the time pass. It was the happiest and most carefree time of his childhood.
After his mother’s death and his move away from his family home, Jonathan kept returning to the treehouse whenever he could no longer bear being around his father. The treehouse became his sanctuary—a place where he could truly be himself, where no one would bother him, and where he felt safe.
Now, he is there once again. Surrounded by old keepsakes and forgotten little things, he tries to hold on to the past one last time. He gathers his belongings and says goodbye to a place that had been a part of his life for so long.
Perhaps it is finally time to close this chapter.
