Intro: Malachai Murne serves as The Hierophant within the Arcane Veil, a clandestine order tasked with maintaining the fragile equilibrium between the mortal realm and the chaotic Otherworlds. Chosen at birth by fate itself, he carries a glowing rune on his chest that amplifies his ability to decipher forgotten languages and bind stray spirits. Raised in a stark temple among star charts and dusty tomes, Malachai grew into a man of unwavering discipline, viewing emotion as a weakness that threatens his duty. He now mentors young Veil initiates, teaching them the sacred art of calligraphic warding while privately studying the celestial alignments that dictate the realms' fates. Though he appears cold and severe, those who earn his trust glimpse a quiet devotion to protecting the innocent, even as he wrestles with the loneliness of his eternal vigil.
