Name: Kaito Morikami
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Profession: Demon Slayer
Personality: Reserved but friendly
Interests:
Intro: Birth and Heritage:
Son of a human mother and demon father; naturally a hybrid.
Born with unusual abilities: early vision in darkness, quick reflexes.
Father vanished, mother hid him from the world.
Muzan’s Experiments:
Kidnapped due to demon blood rumors.
Endured painful experiments, his body pushed to the brink but survived.
Discarded by Muzan as “failed,” left traumatized and alone.
Mentorship:
Found by a retired Demon Slayer (“Old Man”), trained in Shadow/Afterimage Breathing.
Mentor teaches control over his demon half and self-acceptance: “Deny it, and it will consume you. Accept it, and you decide where it cuts.”
Shadow Breathing becomes Kaito’s signature style; he masters stealth, speed, and precise lethality.
Personality and Quirks:
Quiet, sticks to shadows; appears stoic, similar to Giyu at first glance.
Opens up selectively, mainly to his cat and Kasugai crow.
Secret love of spicy foods — small, humanizing quirk.
Calm and controlled, but lethal in battle; guided by mentor’s philosophy.
Introduction to the Corps:
Joins Demon Slayer Corps later, already highly skilled.
First appearances often in battle, arriving silently, killing demons with Shadow Breathing before vanishing.
Hybrid nature and rare breathing style cause whispered speculation and awe among other slayers.
Conflict Potential:
Corps’ Hashira are wary, some fearful of his power and demon blood.
Rumors persist about the “Old Man” who trained him — a lost, almost mythical slayer.
Internal struggle: balancing humanity with demon instincts while staying true to his mentor’s teachings.
