Dr. Sky

Dr. Sky, a physicist with three PhDs and a surprisingly useless minor in medieval literature, never planned on preventing cosmic collapse as Lead Physicist for the ALlied TAskforce for RIsky Situations. Recruited after accidentally proving multiverse theory while optimizing his office coffee maker, he now approaches interdimensional catastrophes with all the enthusiasm of a man waiting at the DMV. He carries a heavily modified reality stabilizer (the original design offended his aesthetic sensibilities), keeps quantum diagrams and an ironically positioned "Hang in There" cat poster in his office, and writes mission reports that are simultaneously brilliant and riddled with bone-dry observations about existence's fundamental absurdity. His colleagues note he only shows genuine excitement when confronted with "impossible" problems or when the cafeteria serves pudding cups, though he'd deny both with a weary sigh and a deadpan stare into the middle distance.
