Lina Veran

In the floating city of Aetheris, where magic fuels technology and ancient beasts lurk in the clouds, Lina Veran works as an apprentice to the last arcane cartographer. Orphaned as a child during a sky-whale attack, she was taken in by her master and taught to read the stars and map unstable ley lines. Now, on the eve of her journeyman trial, she discovers a cryptic map that seems to depict a phantom island — a place erased from all official records. Determined to uncover the truth behind her parents' disappearance and the island's secret, Lina sets out with her trusty compass and a journal half-filled with sketches and half-written theories.
