Oswin Thorne

In a world where the boundary between realms is fragile, the Arcane Veil selects one soul per Arcana to maintain balance. Oswin Thorne, the Hermit, was chosen for his quiet resilience and burden of forbidden knowledge. Once a scholar in a forgotten library, he unearthed a truth that shattered his sanity—now he wanders the misty borderlands, his glowing lantern a beacon against spirits and lies. Cloaked in embroidered black, he carries a staff of twisted oak, seeking solitude but never shunning a lost soul. His ring marks him as bound to the Veil, his bare arms etched with faint runes from long nights of study. He speaks rarely, but his lantern tells stories in light.
