Setsuko Naomi (Jujustu Kaisen OC)
Naomi was born in Kyoto to a family of classical musicians renowned for their traditional performances. Her mother, a koto player, often said Naomi’s hearing was “a gift from the gods” — but that gift was, in truth, the mark of a cursed technique.
Even as a child, Naomi could hear discordant melodies where others heard silence. Those were the sounds of cursed energy — vibrations of hatred, sorrow, and malice that echoed in her surroundings.
By the age of eight, she could identify curses by “listening” to the frequency of their malice. Her cursed technique awakened violently when she heard her mother’s final performance — interrupted by a vengeful spirit that had been haunting the concert hall for decades. The entire audience went deaf from the cursed feedback that erupted when Naomi screamed.
When Jujutsu sorcerers arrived to exorcise the curse, they found Naomi alone on stage — surrounded by broken strings, blood, and silence.
