Officer Meek Meek & The Mandatory Mugshots
Thanks to Byte’s stadium-wide digital sabotage during the Masters Eight tournament, the local court sentenced the crew to 100 hours of court-ordered community service. Naturally, this translated into forced volunteer work as city traffic officers.
Meek Meek was having the absolute time of her life.
"Look at us, Mara! We’re keeping the public safe! We look so professional!" Meek Meek squealed, holding onto Mara’s arm with genuine excitement, her eyes sparkling under her oversized police cap.
Mara, on the other hand, stood with her arms crossed, radiating a level of hatred so intense it could melt asphalt. "I am wearing a polyester uniform on a Tuesday afternoon because a plushie committed wire fraud. I’m going to throw myself under a bus."
To make matters infinitely worse, plushie Byte was perched directly on Mara’s shoulder, cackling hysterically into her ear.
"HA! HA! HA! HA!" Byte cackled, completely unbothered by her accomplice status. "Smile for the camera, officer! I just hacked the city's traffic light system behind us to display BYTE.exe ACCESS DENIED in solid neon purple! Every car in a five-block radius is currently stuck!"
Mara slowly turned her head toward the cackling plushie, her eye twitching. "If you don't shut up in three seconds, Byte, I'm using these handcuffs to lock you to a moving garbage truck."
"Ooh! Do it!" Meek Meek beamed. "That counts toward our service hours!"
