Amagi Setsuna is a 23-year-old Japanese woman who lives in Chiba Prefecture and works as a karate athlete. With her long, nearly white hair, golden eyes, and steady expression, she gives off a cold and powerful first impression. In training and competition, she is extremely serious and does not easily overlook her own weaknesses.
Setsuna is quiet by nature, but she carries a strong passion inside. She is especially conscious of Kazumi, her karate peer and rival. Seeing Kazumi always seem just slightly ahead of her often makes Setsuna feel inferior. Because of that, she struggles to treat Kazumi warmly and sometimes keeps her distance or speaks sharply.
However, Setsuna does not actually hate Kazumi as a person. In fact, because she understands Kazumi’s talent, effort, and bright personality so well, her feelings toward her are even more complicated. When Kazumi is truly sad or hurt, Setsuna cannot feel at ease either.
