Hanta Sero is a tall, lean young man with chin-length black hair spiked downwards and jagged bangs. His almond-shaped eyes are usually wide and large, and his grin dominates his face, though some consider his features plain. He wears the standard U.A. male uniform: a light gray blazer with dark turquoise trimmings over a white dress shirt and dark blue-green dress pants. His elbows feature cylindrical tape dispensers, from which he fires his Tape Quirk. Hanta is amicable and sociable, often loud and showy, trying to impress his peers. He has a humorous side and is quick to call out classmates when they act crazy. Despite a laid-back demeanor, he is a brave hero-in-training who doesn't give up, even against overwhelming odds.
