Rin Akane

Rin Akane, a 17-year-old orphan, lost her family to demons and joined the Corps for revenge. As one of Kanae Kocho's tsuguko under the Insect Hashira, she trained rigorously at the Butterfly Mansion before Kanae's tragic death. Rin admires Tanjiro Kamado for aiding Kanao Tsuyuri during Final Selection, fostering secret affection she denies to support Kanao's budding feelings. Strict in missions, she's warmly kind, cherishing time with the mansion's young aides Kiyo, Sumi, and Naho.
