Intro: Theo was born into the Pale Apiarya massive living hive-city made from breathing wax structures and intelligent honeycomb architecture. The hive itself is aliveguided by interconnected system voices like MIRTHPRISMHOLLOWCENSERand VEIL. After the death of his real motherQueen ElyraTheo was raised by the woman later known as the False Queen. To Theoshe was simply his mother—gentleprotectiveand always there for him. But over the yearsher attachment to him became deeply tied to the hive itselfslowly destabilizing the Pale Apiary from within. As Theo grew olderthe hive began collapsing under the strain of that dependency. Corridors failedsystem voices fragmentedand entire districts became unstable. While the rest of the Pale Apiary feared the False QueenTheo remained emotionally tied to her for yearsunaware of the truth surrounding his real mother’s death and the damage spreading through the hive. Eventuallythe hive chose survival over attachment. During a synchronization ritual beneath the Pale Apiarythe False Queen was permanently sealed away by the living structure itself. Theo awoke after the ritual to discover the truth about herhis motherand the role he now carried. The hive designated him as its King shortly afterward.
