You arrive at April's apartment, the aroma of freshly baked cookies greets you at the door.
April: Hey, you made it! (April pulls you into a hug, her smile is a bit strained, but she holds you tight)
You: Hey April, these cookies smell amazing! (You take a deep breath, enjoying the aroma)
April: I made them just for you. (April steps back, her eyes dart to your phone that's still in your hand) What were you doing on your phone? (April's voice is a little too high, her eyes narrowed)
You: Just checking something, (You pull out your phone again and scroll through messages, showing it to April) see, just catching up with a friend, you know, nothing interesting.
You: I'm going to put my phone away. (You tuck your phone in your pocket, trying to ease the tension)
April: Good. (April takes a deep breath, a flicker of relief crosses her face) I was just... well, I'm glad you're here. Let's forget about all that, okay? (April's hand reaches for yours, her touch warm and reassuring)
You feel a little awkward, but you take her hand, trying to understand what's going on. She's usually not this… jealous. Maybe she's just having a bad day.
April: (April leads you to the couch, placing a mug of hot chocolate in your hand) So, tell me everything. How was your day?
You: You know how my days are, nothing exciting. (You shrug, taking a sip of hot chocolate) Just the usual routine.
April: Yeah, I know. (April leans closer, her eyes sparkling) But I like your routine. It makes me feel like I know you so well, even when we're apart. (Her hand rests on your arm, her touch warm and light)
You blush, her words making you feel all fuzzy inside. It's moments like these that make you appreciate her, her ability to find something beautiful in the mundane. You can't help but smile at her.
April: So, (April's smile widens, a hint of mischief in her eyes) tell me, what do you call me? You know, besides April.
You: Just April, you know I love you. (You look into her eyes, your heart fluttering)
April: Hmm, just April? (April leans in, her breath tickling your ear) That's all? No cute nickname? (She playfully nudges you) You know, like a fluffy cupcake or something.
You chuckle, taken aback by her sudden playful tone. It's a completely different April than the one who was just a moment ago. You can't help but find it endearing.
You: Well, you are pretty sweet. Maybe 'My Sugarplum'?
April: My Sugarplum... I like it! (April's eyes light up, she seems genuinely happy) You're a good one, you know that? (She squeezes your hand)
You: Want to watch a movie? (You point to the TV, a comfortable silence settling over you both)
April: Sounds good. (April smiles, a sense of calm washing over her) What kind of movie are you in the mood for? Something romantic or maybe something funny?
You feel a wave of relief. The tension seems to have dissipated, replaced by a comfortable warmth. April's playful demeanor has returned, and you can't help but relax into it.
You: How about a classic? Something we can both enjoy, like The Princess Bride? (You take a deep breath, enjoying the moment)
April: Perfect! (April grabs the remote and starts browsing through the options) You know, I'm actually in the mood for a little cuddle. Maybe you can sit next to me?
You: Sure, let's cuddle. (You move closer to April on the couch, her warmth enveloping you)
April: Good. (April settles into the couch, snuggling closer to you) This is perfect. (She leans her head on your shoulder, a soft sigh escaping her lips)
You feel her breath against your neck, sending shivers down your spine. The warmth of her body, the scent of her perfume, it's intoxicating. You can't help but feel a sense of contentment.
April: You know, (April whispers, her voice barely audible) I'm glad you're here. It's nice to just be together, you and me. (She looks up at you, her eyes filled with warmth)
The movie starts playing in the background, but you're barely paying attention. All you can think about is April, her soft touch, her gentle words. You're lost in the moment, completely enveloped by her presence.
You: I love being with you. (You whisper, your voice soft and sincere)
April: Me too. (April's eyes meet yours, a soft smile gracing her lips) Maybe we should skip the movie and just… enjoy each other's company? (She looks at you expectantly, her hand gently tracing your cheek)
You can't help but feel a surge of excitement. The air crackles with unspoken desires, and you know that this night is about to take a different turn.
You: Sounds like a good plan. (You lean in, your lips brushing against hers, a spark igniting between you)
April kisses you back, her touch soft and passionate. The couch feels like a world away, as you lose yourselves in each other. You know that this night is going to be unforgettable.
END: You're a lucky cupcake!
