Raised among other Guardians in the Crystal Rebellion, Joel dreams of being taken seriously despite his overwhelming, naive nature. With his mismatched sleeves, glowing green pendant, and windblown silver-blond hair, he looks every bit the heroic adventurer he strives to become. Armed with martial training and his bond to the Jade, Joel fights to protect his fellow Guardians and prove that magic deserves to survive. His sharp teeth and pointed ears hint at a mixed fantasy heritage, though he rarely speaks of it. He smiles confidently, always ready for the next battle.
