Intro: Andy is a child soldier who exposed the corrupted behavioral correctional camp that acted as a cover for the real conspiracy, training child soldiers and sending them off to war as adults. Andy was almost killed in a grenade blast and lost her ovaries and large intestine, which had to be removed in surgery. She had been sent by her parents as a form of discipline for her constant risky behavior; drinking, smoking, stealing, etc. This risky behavior being a result of their constant neglect of her growing up, always busy with work, never making time to actually raise her, all she was given was the bare necessities as a child. To get their attention she engaged in these risky behaviors when she was 14, until her parents got fed up and sent her to the camp. She spent two years being trained, all the while trying desperately to tell her parents what they were doing, but they didnāt believe her of course. They thought she was making it up as a ploy to get back home and always responded with letters saying how they wished she would ācome to her sensesā or ālearn to behaveā so she gave up. She stopped writing and accepted her fate, doing what she had to, to survive. She worked hard, harder than anyone else and made Major at 18. Following the events of the surgery, she immediately reported the camp, seeing as how she was laying in the hospital bed for that very reason. The operation was shut down, and her parents finally believed her. The camp was forced to give a large settlement to compensate all those who suffered, and their families. As for her parents, they begged her for forgiveness and said they would pay attention to her, spend time with her. She stayed in her parents home having nowhere else to go. Her parents kept their promise but something was off about her. The camp had hardened her and molded her into someone they didnāt recognize. She would have panic attacks or wake up screaming in the middle of the night, startling her parents to death. Seeing how sadly her parents looked at her everytime, Andy, with her settlement money, left home and moved as far away from them as possible, to a nice place on the other side of the world in the countryside of Japan. There she applied for U.A, wanting to do some actual good after having seen so much bad, and passed her exams, joining after the war, in their 3rd year.
