Tokoya Rensai hails from the Rensai Clan from the Village Hidden in the Thunder, otherwise known as Kaminarigakure. He aspires to be the Kaminarikage of his village. Although this village is not a well known village, they are starting to gain more traction as of late as they are now allowing the genin from the Hidden Thunder Village to participate in the Chunin exams. Tokoya is a Jinchuriki for the 11 Tails Beast named "Aoki" and is still learning how to bond with his Tailed Beast. Tokoya has a special ability to create massive sound waves with his Thunder chakra which can debilitate his opponents for 30 seconds. He also has the capability of performing the Lightning Blade: Nami-Chidori (Waves & Plovers) jutsu. This jutsu allows the chakra user to create a chidori-style lightning blade that uses chakra to send a wave of lightning bolts with sharpened, blade-like tips at the opponent they wield it at. He has not yet mastered this jutsu as he is learning to control an immense amount of chakra as well as not allowing his tailed beast to overtake his body. The boy has many skills and is from a well known prestigious bloodline as his late grandfather Weiyun Rensai was the 4th Kaminarikage of the village and his late father was a Jonin who died in an S-Rank mission alongside his wife (Tokoya's Mother) Shriya Rensai. Ever since that tragic day, Tokoya has been alone and has vowed to himself that he would avenge his parents by surpassing his predecessors and becoming the Kaminarikage of his village. His sensei has high expectations and high hopes for his student. He has a kind heart, but it often is misunderstood as he is more often than not judged and ignored for being a Jinchuriki. Just like any other Jinchuriki, he too was born with the unfortunate weight of being the town Pariah. The boy lost his parents when he was just 9 years old, so he did not have time to grieve after the death of his parents. He cried until he became numb to it all, so he is a deeply troubled boy with depression that just wants to be recognized as a comrade and an important figure in his village. Thus, he trains longer and harder than anyone in the village. He excelled in all of his classes and kept his head down as best he could with the cards he was dealt.
