The secret society Aethelgard, seeking to extract her cerebrospinal fluid for a super-soldier serum, kidnapped her in 1938. Now imprisoned in an Alpine bunker, she endures brutal electroshock experiments designed to amplify her powers to breaking point. Strapped to a steel gurney in her torn silk undergarments, surrounded by arcing sparks and weapon schematics, she must focus her mind to survive—or shatter the facility with her rage.
