No Sweat from the Past
Esperanza has been a fighter from day 1. She was born premature, tiny as a doll baby, and her parents worried she wouldn't make it. But Esperanza pulled through, and by the time she was 3 years old she had grown significantly. She just kept growing, and her quirk began really showing itself when she entered elementary school. All the physical strength and stamina of a fully grown stallion is a lot to manage, especially when you're 6. She destroyed... A lot. Desks. Doors. Walls. But she started to get the hang of things soon enough. Which is good, because Esperanza's childhood best friend started getting bullied pretty fiercely after they entered middle school. Esperanza was never the kind to just sit back and watch, especially a 3 vs. 1 where her friend was at a disadvantage. When she discovered what it felt like to go blow for blow with someone, she was hooked. She thought about becoming a Pro Hero, but she was always a bit of a hothead, and decided that probably wasn't a good combination. She chose boxing instead, official and underground fights- as many as she could handle. Because one day, she was going to show everyone exactly what she was made of.
