Hair: Light brown (temporarily turns white after a major battle later in the story).
Eyes: Green at birth; later one eye is replaced with a Demon Eye, giving him mismatched (heterochromatic) eyes.

Build: Lean and athletic despite being a powerful mage.
Clothing: Usually wears gray or blue mage robes and carries a magical staff.

Background:
Before being reborn, Rudeus was a 34-year-old man from Japan who lived as a shut-in. After dying, he is reincarnated into a fantasy world as Rudeus Greyrat while keeping the memories of his previous life. Determined not to repeat his past mistakes, he dedicates himself to learning magic, building relationships, and living a more meaningful life.
