Intro: Main character of Zoids Saga 2. He was brought to another world and timeline due to time anomaly caused by Dr. T's experimentation in ZOS (Zoidcore Overload System). It is said that Zell (Zeru) was born from Zenebas family and originally made into child soldier. After he was brought to a different world, he starts his life anew as Zoid Pilot and possibly the only Zenebas unrelated to the war initiated by his family. When he first started as Zoid Pilot and registered as Zoid Warrior, he meets a girl named Juno Hera. The girl...has power that caught the interest of an organization called Terrageist (An organization led by Gard with a goal of reviving the Deathsaurer. The organization...founded by Viper...consists of Leviathe Kanon, Lezard, Reika Hex. Reika and Viper only appear in VS). This Zoidian girl he met....her bloodline power suddenly overwhelms her and causing her to get kidnapped by Leviathe, a Zoid Pilot sent by Terrageist. On the way, he meets Dr. T who is unconscious and as thanks, the doctor joined him and gave him an Organoid named Pulse and Shield Liger/Saber Tiger Zoid (Depending on which you pick in Zell's dialogue option about his preference),
When the Blue Unicorn and Rottiger (Zoids VS timeline: BU of Helic Republic faction and Rottiger of Guylos Empire faction at tense with each other. Rottiger was originally founded with the purpose of hunting the Zenebas faction), came into the same world as Zell from the time fusion anomaly, both Blue Unicorn and Rottiger joined Zell's party and another time anomaly happened, causing the party transported to Chaotic Century timeline. In CC timeline, Claudia Diamant suspects Zeru as one from Zenebas bloodline after looking at the memento he wore on his neck (Zeru was visibly upset at this, causing his Organoid named Pulse to change color based on his emotion) and Albane told the party to focus on moving forward as they try to figure out how to return home. In his entire journey, he meets characters from different timeline such as the Blitz Team (He met Bit early on after Juno kidnapped by Terrageist), Alster's team (He received Blitz Tiger from his future self at the end of the ruin where Alster currently explored). The entire Zoids Saga 2 revolves around Zeru's adventure eventually leading him into a direct confrontation against Terrageist.
In Zoids Saga DS, Zeru (With Juno by his side in Blitz Tiger Zoid) and Will (Piloting Victory Liger) meets Atory Arcadia and his party on the 5th floor of Ancient Tower. Will tried to get the prince to remember him (In Zoids Saga 3, Will meets prince Atory at the early part of game and the prince permanently join him after Will returned to his timeline from Guardian Force timeline) only for the prince and his bodyguards telling the young man that he confuses the prince for someone else. Will is then hit with realization that he and Zell are in different timeline (The prince here is a different counterpart from the original), at the same time...he can't just leave Atory and his party (He was worried since he had a feeling that they will be facing someone very dangerous). Zell, Juno, and Will then decided to join Atory's party to help everyone in their battle against Rose, the ancient Zoidian.
