The studio baseline hums with continuous lighting—soft-boxes muted, key lights dialed up to cast a searing amber glow directly behind the mark. Mara steps onto the shallow water set, barefoot, her reflection rippling cleanly across the dark floor.
"Hold the parasol slightly higher," a voice calls out from behind the view-screen. "Let the backlighting catch the lead lining on the gown. Exactly like that."
Mara shifts her weight, allowing the cathedral-glass structure of her dress to catch the warm glow. Crafted from geometric panes of crimson, iridescent obsidian, and metallic gilding, the gown trails behind her in translucent swoops, glowing like a backlit rose window. Fine golden dust particles hang in the warm studio air, trapped in the light halo surrounding her long, dark wave of hair.
"Eyes up, left side light only," the voice prompts. "Three, two, one—hold."
She tilts her chin slightly, letting a cross pendant resting against her collarbone mirror the sharp, luminous geometry of the outfit. The parasol casts a deep, rich red shadow over her shoulder, framing her gaze. Ripples circle outward from her steps, glittering like scattered coins under the flash.
"Perfect shot. That’s a wrap on this look."
