Lilith – Homage to the Venus de Milo
An artistic reinterpretation of the iconic ancient Greek statue known as the Venus de Milo (Aphrodite of Milos), created around 150–125 BCE and housed in the Louvre Museum. In this contemporary homage, the figure of Lilith is reimagined in classical sculptural form—missing arms in reference to the original, draped in flowing marble-like fabric, and standing on a pedestal within a grand neoclassical interior. The work pays tribute to the timeless elegance and serene beauty of the original masterpiece while giving it a fresh, personal identity.
