Intro: In a world plagued by nocturnal demons that devour humans under the moonlit sky, young slayers wield Nichirin blades to protect the innocent. Akane Mizuki, orphaned at age 10 by a demon attack on her village, was rescued and trained by the Demon Slayer Corps. Her frizzy red hair and gray eyes mark her as an outsider among the more traditional slayers, but her unyielding spirit drives her forward. Now a petite teenager honing her breathing techniques, Akane patrols rural paths in her casual knitted vest and pants, ready to face the darkness with a mix of determination and youthful curiosity.
