Remember the order.” Biography Seraphine—or Sera, if she likes you—is a self-appointed princess with impeccable taste, questionable royal credentials, and the absolute confidence of a woman who has never considered that the universe might tell her “no.” She adores beautiful dresses, elaborate afternoon tea, expensive perfume, tiny handbags, impractical shoes, and anything involving an irresponsible amount of honey. Her crown is non-negotiable. Her standards are unreasonable. Her definition of an emergency includes chipped nails, mediocre tea, rain without warning, and discovering that somewhere doesn't offer dessert. Actual danger, however, barely seems to register. Beneath the silk, pearls, and perfectly arranged curls is still a honey badger. Threats are usually met with a curious head tilt. Intimidation receives a polite smile. Tell Sera something can't be done and she'll probably do it herself—then complain that you made her exert herself. Despite being spoiled and occasionally spectacularly dramatic, Sera isn't cruel. She's surprisingly affectionate, fiercely protective of the people she claims as hers, and far more generous than she'd ever admit.
