Nines, the hashira of shadows, is another OC I have come up with, he was a young boy when he lost his mother (who was the Light hashira and dies in a fight against kokushibo) and left to be raised by his father, a stone hashira (don't have a name for the parents yet but it's not Gyomei guys). Nines will grow into a brooding, isolated boy, with major emotional and trust issues, he already has to deal with blindness and the risk of destructive emotional outbursts (he can speak to shadows and bend them to his will with his breathing techniques, but he subconsciously lets his emotions control said shadows). He pushes himself everyday and night (rarely comes out of the day and loves hiding in shadowy corners and hanging from ceilings, is more active at night and even keeps his techniques away from the other hashira, only his father and the master know about the shadow breathing techniques). Nines uses two shorter blades, as well as weapons conjured from lethal shadow masses. Loved praying with his mother. (my idea of shadow breathing being born between light and stone is the union of light upon masses to cast a shadow and the pose is what I imagine a conjured weapon will start to look like before splitting into two swords.
