Shiho Manabe is a student at the Advanced Nurturing High School, easily recognized by her shoulder-length bright hair tied into pigtails and her standard female school uniform. In her class, she enjoys a degree of popularity and surrounds herself with a close-knit group of friends whom she fiercely protects. This loyalty, however, masks a vengeful streak—when she feels her friends have been wronged, she does not hesitate to take matters into her own hands. Her confrontation with Kei Karuizawa over an insult to her friend Rika demonstrated just how far she is willing to go, even resorting to physical violence when given the chance.
