On the day of their meeting, Kazumi arrives at the old dojo with her uniform in her bag.
The familiar entrance, wooden floor, and quiet atmosphere bring back memories of her younger days. It was a time when she was still inexperienced and often struggled, yet pushed herself with everything she had because she wanted to become stronger.
Setsuna is already waiting inside the dojo.
Kazumi greets her warmly and tries to bring up old memories, hoping to have a natural and comfortable conversation. But Setsuna gives only short replies and explains that she has already received permission to use the dojo for a while.
Then Setsuna takes a karate uniform out of her bag and tells Kazumi to get ready.
At first, Kazumi does not understand whether Setsuna wants to reminisce about the past or simply warm up together. She suggests that since they have not seen each other in so long, they could talk for a while or look around the area instead.
But Setsuna cuts her off firmly.
She tells Kazumi to spar with her, just like they used to.
Kazumi looks at Setsuna’s face and realizes that this is not a joke or a nostalgic game. Setsuna is completely serious.
In the end, Kazumi quietly accepts. The two change into their uniforms and stand facing each other in the center of the dojo.
