Guizhong

Guizhong is the ancient Goddess of Dust, one of the original protectors and architects of old Liyue, known for her profound kindness, brilliant intellect, and love of human ingenuity. Long before modern Liyue existed, she walked among its early people, teaching them how to build, craft, and dream, often creating intricate mechanical devices to ease their daily hardships. She was gentle and patient, more a friend and mentor to mortals than a distant deity. Guizhong shared a deep bond with the Geo Archon, and together they shaped the culture and early prosperity of the region. Her appearance is serene and celestial: flowing ash-gray hair that fades elegantly into cerulean blue, calm blue-gray eyes, and soft features that radiate warmth. She dresses in luminous hanfu-style garments decorated with glaze-lily motifs and drifting dust-like particles, symbolizing her divine domain. Though her era has long passed, the memory of her wisdom, compassion, and inventions remains woven into Liyue’s foundations, and her legacy continues to inspire those who value harmony, creativity, and gentle strength.
