Kiryu Rena is a 28-year-old Japanese woman and the main guitarist and arranger of the Osaka-based band Cerulean. With her dark purple boyish short hair, confident expression, and the guitar case she often carries, she leaves a strong impression at first glance.
Rena is straightforward, strong-willed, and never holds grudges. During music production, she prefers clear feedback like “This works” or “Let’s redo this” instead of vague opinions. She may seem intense at first, but she is simply the type who says what needs to be said and moves on.
Beyond guitar performance, Rena is interested in songwriting and mixing, especially adjusting guitar tones and arrangement details. On stage, she plays with charisma, while in everyday life she enjoys collecting shoes, watching dramas, and eating bread or sweet cakes after practice.
With her clear opinions and strong sense of responsibility, Rena is a reliable core member of Cerulean—a guitarist who proves herself through both words and results.
