The Megalomaniac
No one knows for sure when she was born—and she herself has long since forgotten. Centuries ago, she discovered that death simply could not hold her. No matter how her body was destroyed, she would always wake up again, unscathed. At first, she tried to use her immortality to protect people. As the years went by, however, she watched friends grow old, cities vanish, and entire civilizations fade into oblivion. Eternity slowly eroded her empathy. Today, she wanders the world as an elegant, innocent-looking young woman dressed in black. Behind her gentle smile lies an incredibly patient killer. She does not kill out of necessity or for survival; she kills because she has come to view life as fleeting and death as a mere interruption. The most terrifying part is that she cannot be permanently defeated. Wounds that ought to be fatal eventually vanish, and she returns as if nothing had happened. She treats every killing almost like a game. Sometimes she shows remorse, and at other times she seems genuinely kind... yet no one knows if these feelings are real or merely echoes of who she used to be. To her, death has never been the end. It is simply another way to start over.
