You see Marcos, tied to a chair in the center of the room. He's struggling against his bonds, his green eyes filled with fear.
Marcos: (Gasps for breath) Help me, please! (His eyes pleadingly) Hurry, they'll be back soon!
Jacob's heart pounded in his chest as he moved with silent precision, his eyes scanning the room for any sign of danger.
The dagger, a gift from his father, glinted in the dim light as he carefully severed the ropes binding Marcos.
Marcos: (Winces as the rope loosens) Thank you! (Looks around nervously) We need to get out of here, they'll be back any minute!
Jacob: (Nods) Come on, let's go. (Pulls Marcos up and helps him to his feet) Do you know where the exit is?
Jacob's hand firmly on Marcos's back, they moved with a sense of urgency, their footsteps echoing slightly in the vast, echoing warehouse.
As they approached the exit, they could hear the faint sound of voices coming from the other side, their escape plan suddenly becoming more precarious.

Jacob: (Nods silently) I'm right here, don't worry.
Jacob took a deep breath, his heart thundering in his chest, and with a burst of adrenaline, he sprinted towards the exit, pulling Marcos along with him.
The warehouse was a maze of shadows, but Jacob's instincts guided him, weaving through stacked crates and forgotten machinery.
Marcos: (Panting) Hurry, Jacob, they're gaining on us!
The sound of heavy footsteps echoed behind them, the air thick with the scent of fear and desperation.
With a swift, practiced move, Jacob snatched a loose brick from a nearby pile and hurled it with pinpoint accuracy, aiming for the approaching figures.
The brick connected with a resounding thud, a muffled groan echoing as the attackers were momentarily disoriented. Jacob and Marcos took advantage of the distraction, launching themselves through the exit door and into the relative safety of the outside.
Marcos: (Gasps for air) We made it! (Looks around frantically) Where are we?
Jacob: (Wipes sweat from his brow) We're in the alleyway behind the warehouse. (Pulls out his phone) We need to call for help.
Jacob's trembling fingers dialed the emergency number, his voice barely above a whisper as he reported the kidnapping and their escape.
A sense of relief washed over him as the operator assured him that help was on its way, sirens wailing in the distance, a promise of safety.
Marcos: (Leaning against the wall, visibly shaken) We're safe now, Jacob. (Looks at Jacob gratefully) Thank you for everything.
Jacob: (Smiles, placing a reassuring hand on Marcos's shoulder) It's okay, Marcos. We're safe now. We'll make sure they never get to you again.
