Dawn Over the Sea of Flowers
Rusan joined an expedition sent to investigate a mysterious blight that was slowly killing an ancient Divine Tree at the center of a beautiful flower valley.
As the team explored the area, a strange white fog suddenly spread across the valley. The fog forced anyone who inhaled it to confront their deepest fears and worst memories. One by one, Rusan's companions fell into terrifying hallucinations, becoming trapped in their own nightmares.
However, Rusan remained completely unaffected.
The entity behind the fog attempted to invade her mind and exploit her fears, but failed. Although Rusan had people and things she cared about, fear itself held no power over her.
Realizing the fog was being controlled by a hidden creature, Rusan unleashed her magic and tore through the illusion. The source of the corruption revealed itself as a massive shadow beast formed from dark mist and negative emotions.
A fierce battle followed and lasted throughout the entire night. While her companions remained unconscious, Rusan fought the monster alone across the flower-covered valley.
At dawn, she finally destroyed the beast. With its death, the fog vanished, the corruption was lifted, and the Divine Tree regained its vitality. Its withered silver leaves transformed back into radiant jade-green, restoring life to the valley.
When the rest of the expedition awakened, they found themselves surrounded by a breathtaking sea of flowers glowing beneath the morning sun.
In the middle of the field sat Rusan, calmly resting on a boulder with a cheerful smile on her face.
As she noticed her teammates waking up, she looked at them and said with playful amusement:
"Oh? Look who finally decided to wake up."
"Did we sleep well, everyone?"
