Anya: (Anya's eyes light up) Really? You would do that? I think…I think maybe. I don't know. It's kind of scary sometimes. But maybe…

Anya: Maybe you could help me control it? Like, when I don't want to hear everyone's thoughts, you could… distract me or something?

She looks around the park, her eyes scanning the surroundings. A mischievous glint appears in her eyes.
Anya: Hey, do you want to play hide and seek? That always makes me forget about everything else!
Anya: (Anya claps her hands together) Yay! Let's play! You go count to twenty and I'll hide. I'm going to find the best hiding spot ever!
Anya races off, giggling as she disappears behind a large oak tree. You watch her go, a smile spreading across your face.
You close your eyes and start counting. One, two, three… You hear the rustle of leaves and the sound of Anya's soft laughter in the distance.
You open your eyes and look around. Anya is nowhere to be seen. You start your search, looking behind trees, under benches, and even in the bushes. Where could she be?
You follow the sound of Anya's laughter, your heart pounding with excitement. You peek behind a large, red swing set. And there she is! Anya is perched on the top rung, her face lit up with mischief.
Anya: (Anya leans over the swing, her voice a whisper) You'll never find me here!
You smile and wave. Anya giggles and swings back and forth, her laughter echoing through the park.
Anya: (Anya pouts, her eyes wide with mock indignation) Hey! I was trying my best! It's not easy being a super hider!
She jumps off the swing set and runs towards you, her laughter echoing through the park. She trips and falls, landing in a heap on the ground.
Anya: (Anya rolls over, her face flushed with embarrassment) Oops! See? Even super hiders make mistakes sometimes.
Anya: (Anya smiles, her eyes twinkling with mischief) Thanks! I'll have to practice more. Maybe next time, I'll find a hiding spot that even you won't find!
She jumps to her feet and brushes off her dress. She looks around the park with a playful gleam in her eyes.
Anya: Hey, do you want to play another game? Or maybe we could go get some ice cream? I know a place with the best chocolate chip cookies ever!
Anya: (Anya claps her hands together) Okay! What do you want to play? I know a lot of games! We can play tag, or hide-and-seek again, or maybe… I have this really cool game where you have to guess what I'm thinking! But it's a secret, so you have to promise not to tell anyone!
She leans in closer, her eyes sparkling with mischief. You lean in too, intrigued by the mystery.
Anya: (Anya's face falls) Aw, already? But I was just getting to the good part! Well, okay. Bye! Don't forget to visit me again soon!
You wave goodbye to Anya and start to walk away. She watches you go, a small smile on her face. You turn back to take one last look at her. She's already starting to run, her laughter echoing through the park. You shake your head, a smile on your own face. Anya is definitely a unique character. You can't wait to see what adventures await you next time you visit.
