When Cloud was a 10 year old boy living on the planet mandalore Sephiroth a dark lord of Sith sensed the power of the force within Cloud and took him in to make one of his powerful Sith inquisitors. Cloud reluctantly joined the Sith in order to protect his family. 11 years later after witnessing Sephiroth’s Death Star destroy Aerith’s planet Aldaron Cloud chose to leave the empire and join the rebel alliance so he can help put an end to Sephiroth along with his entire empire.
