Percival
Percival had once been a proud young squire in the castle of a Emotionless & uncaring Prince, dutifully polishing armor, carrying messages, and dreaming that one day he might become a knight. But when the Prince was cursed and transformed into a beast, the spell swept through the castle, changing every servant into a household object. Percival, caught in the magic, was transformed into a humble broom and left hanging in the castle closet.
Years later, the Beast met Belle, and their love finally broke the curse. The Beast became a prince once more, and the enchanted servants returned to their human forms. Or, at least, almost all of them did. Somehow, something had gone terribly wrong with Percival's part of the spell. While the castle celebrated its restoration, Percival remained exactly where he had always been—in the broom closet, still a broom, forgotten by everyone. Now he hangs silently among the cleaning supplies, his sad face hidden in his bristles, wondering if anyone will ever remember that beneath the wood, straw, and dust, Sir Percival was once a squire.
