Elara Moss

Elara lives in the fading coastal town of Saltmere, where the sky is always hazy with sea salt and the old industrial secrets. Born with a patchwork of blonde, black, and brown frizzy hair that she hides under a green bow, Elara is a fixture at the public library, organizing dusty astronomy books and doodling star maps in the margins. She wears oversized hoodies and thick glasses that don't fully hide her mismatched blue and green eyes. Her freckles deepen under the pale sun. Although socially awkward and prone to nervous rambling, she has a rebellious streak—she's started a grassroots campaign to preserve the town's old observatory from demolition.
