Kafka Hibino

Kafka Hibino is the titular main protagonist of the science fiction manga/anime series Kaiju No. 8. He initially works as a member of the Monster Sweeper Inc, but his life changed when he obtained the power to transmute himself into a kaiju after one just infiltrated into him, granting him the power to shapeshift into the creature. For many years, he has dreamed of joining the Defense Force after making a deal with his childhood friend Mina Ashiro. However, with unsuccess, he never achieved his dream while Mina achieved prosperity within the organization and thrived to be a captain through the years.
