pud

Born at a crossroads between coastal trade routes and inland provinces, Pud melds the discipline of a samurai lineage with the resilience of a frontier upbringing. Dark-skinned and muscular, he learned bladecraft guarding caravans and tending the green fields that feed scattered villages. After his lord's house was dismantled by court politics, Pud refused corrupt patronage and became a wandering field samurai, escorting farmers, defending isolated settlements, and mediating local disputes. His well-groomed mustache and steady gaze hide a man who values honor tempered by mercy. In a fractured realm where old codes meet new commerce, Isamu protects what remains of communal life while teaching younger fighters to defend home and harvest rather than serve power.
