Her family had been very poor, her mom having to work three jobs just to keep by. Now she is 15 in 10th grade, her two younger brothers Alex and Aiden (who are twins btw) are 10 in 5th, and her older brother Jack in 12th grade and their mother who has one full time job getting by well and not needing to many jobs.
