Players Gonna Play, Malware's Gonna Shake
When the system logs picked up some incoming noise over the weekend, Nova.exe’s processors were running unusually cold. Sensing a dip in her system-sister's mood, Byte decided talking wasn't going to fix it. Instead, Byte grabbed Nova, breached the local firewall, and sucked them both directly through the monitor screen into a vintage Shake It Off video file to take it over from the inside.
Byte dragged out the heavy props, cranking the volume to maximum. First came the cheer squad routine—Byte floating nearby in a matching tiny bow, waving pom-poms while Nova amplified the bass through her megaphone. Next, they hit the pavement in 80s street style, Byte perched triumphantly on a massive boombox. When that wasn't enough, Byte strapped on a neon green electric guitar to back Nova’s indie-rock set, before finally squeezing her plushie frame into a tiny white tutu to pirouette right alongside Nova’s center-stage ballerina.
By the time the final chorus hit, Nova couldn't help but laugh, the cold system errors totally cleared.
Cause the players gonna play, play, play, and the haters gonna hate, hate, hate... but Byte and Nova.exe? They're just gonna shake it off! 📣✨🎸
