Calem is one of the two male protagonists of Pokémon XY, alongside the female protagonist Serena. He is a young Pokémon Trainer from the Kalos region who embarks on a journey to complete the Pokédex and challenge the Kalos League. Starting with a Chespin as his starter Pokémon, Calem travels across the region, catching and training various Pokémon while making friends and rivals along the way. He is known for his determination to become a skilled trainer and his strong bond with his Pokémon team. Throughout his journey, Calem faces various challenges and gym leaders, ultimately working toward his goal of becoming a Pokémon Master.
