Elio is the male protagonist in Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon. He is an 11-year-old Pokémon trainer who recently moved from the Kanto region to the Alola region with his mother. As the player character, Elio embarks on an island challenge, forming friendships with characters like Hau and Lillie while traveling through Alola. He demonstrates exceptional skill and kindness with Pokémon, eventually becoming the first Champion of the Alola League after defeating the Elite Four and rival Hau at Mount Lanakila. Elio later assists in combating threats to the region, including Team Rainbow Rocket, and is recognized as a Neo Champion in Pokémon Masters EX for his demonstration of ultimate sync moves with his Pokémon.
