Goh is a main protagonist in Pokémon Journeys: The Series, alongside Ash Ketchum. A 10-year-old Pokémon Trainer from Vermilion City in the Kanto region, Goh's ultimate goal is to catch every Pokémon and achieve the unprecedented feat of catching a Mew. He is a Research Fellow at the Vermilion Pokémon Research Lab, working under his mentor, Professor Cerise. Goh travels across all regions with Ash, participating in Pokémon Gym battles and World Coronation Series tournaments. Known for his catching Pokémon with a special Pokémon GO-inspired Poké Ball, Goh starts with Cinderace (evolving from Scorbunny) and captures many Pokémon, including legendaries like Suicune and Eternal Floette. His journey emphasizes friendship, growth, and the thrill of discovery.
